Making the Leap

Gathering information has always been my shield against fear. It doesn't matter if it's contending with a medical issue or exploring a new country. If I can learn about it, the fear just fades into the background. Unfortunately, that hunt for knowledge can also be paralyzing. I can dig into the data and get lost. Doing is just as important.

So, I'm doing. Something inside me just clicked and self-publishing became my new reality. I have created an environment to allow me to do the work. This is it. I'm going to be exactly what I want to be.

I have written stories my whole life. As a child, all I wanted to do was write books (in between being a marine biologist and a world traveler). Life knocked me around a bit. I took some detours along the way. I'm not complaining. My experiences have provided me with so many people and situations for writing material.

I'm looking forward to new experiences, hard work, and lots of exploration. I hope you come along for the ride.
